A Multiboxen of WoW Doughnuts

There is quite a bit more I would like to add to this post later, or perhaps even a seperate small website section all together. Yesterday afternoon after the STV Fishing Touneyment, I caught one of our guildies needing an invite on an alt. But, he was still on his main!

“Two computers?” I asked.
“No, two accounts, one computer.”
“What?!?”

So, that much was very true, and having a pretty darned state of the art machine at the moment, I thought I would give this a shot too. Now, I can’t think of it off the top of my head (again, something to add later) but there is a program that will let you send keystrokes to any window or multiple windows all at once.

So, I was playing wow with three toons at the same time. Pressing Alt-3 on one, presses Alt-3 on the next, and also Alt-3 on the last. So, if I make it so that all of them do what they should when I press Alt-3, or any other keystroke for that matter, I should have a fully functional group that consists of Me, Myself, and I.

It was great fun, and though I am still having a great time in the final throws of PvE stuff I can do before the expansion, this opens up a whole new fun way to play. Who knows, maybe I’ll even get a hang of it (screenshots later… perhaps… if I have time tonight)

Watch out for them North Dakotans!

This was a short clip from a recent get together, thank you to Lindsey, whom has us over to chill out and hang with the old Woodbury crew.

Watch out for them North Dakotans, they have more fire power than you might realize.

From left to right, there are some great friends; Eric & Kristen, Lindsey, Nate, Andy & Nghiem.

I heard gmail was down a few days back, was it?… I hadn’t noticed, however (and I am going to plug my Interweb hero again here) Merlin Mann did, and it didn’t bother him at bit.

Writing things down to remember is something I’ve been doing for a bit, but to use context on when/where they are applicable, I can sort my todo list in a way where things get really easy.

From 43folders.com — So if you forgot your phone, skip “@calls,” and move to anything else. Boss out to lunch? Skip “@Boss,” and move to anything else. Internet went down? Skip “@web, “and move to anything else. Gmail is down? Yes! You’ve already guessed it! Skip “@email” and move to anything else. Anything else. Anything. Else.

Fantastic! Check it out here, and stop worrying about the items that are outside of your control at this moment, and get to work on something that you actually can do.
